Felicity Huffman's Youngest Daughter Reveals Her College Plans After Varsity Blues Scandal Landed Her Mom In Prison

Less than two months after Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman served 11 days in prison for her role in the Operation Varsity Blues College Admission Scandal, her youngest daughter Georgia Macy has revealed her college plans. The 17-year-old daughter of Huffman and Shameless star William H. Macy updated her Instagram bio this week to let her fans know that she is part of Vassar College’s class of 2024.
According to Us Weekly, Georgia also posted the private liberal arts school’s logo on her Instagram Story but later deleted the image. Felicity Huffman's Youngest Daughter Reveals Her College Plans After Varsity Blues Scandal Landed Her Mom In Prison.
Getting into Vassar is not an easy task, according to the school’s website. Their stats from March 2019 show that less than 25 percent of applications are accepted, with 8,961 students applying to the school and only 2,098 were admitted. The number of California students is incredibly small, with only 277 coming from the Golden State.
Huffman ended up with a two-week prison sentence in October when she pleaded guilty to fraud charges after she paid $15,000 to a fake charity – via college admissions consultant William “Rick” Singer – to have her oldest daughter Sophia’s SAT scores altered so she could gain admission into an elite university.
Before Huffman received her sentence, she wrote a letter to the judge and asked for leniency. She explained that she almost did the same thing for Georgia, but she “finally came to her senses and told Mr. Singer to stop the process.”
Sophia Macy graduated from the Los Angeles High School of the Arts back in June, but she has not revealed her college plans in the wake of her mom’s scandal.
Before she served her prison sentence, Huffman told Us Weekly that she broke the law and admitted she was guilty of committing a crime. She said there were no excuses or justifications for her actions, and she apologized to her daughter, her husband, and the rest of her family.
“And I especially want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices supporting their children,” said Huffman.
One of Huffman’s co-defendants, Fuller House star Lori Loughlin, has continued to plead not guilty to fraud and bribery charges after she allegedly dropped $500,000 to get her two daughters into the University of Southern California as crew recruits, even though they didn’t play the sport.
Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are facing decades in prison if they are found guilty.

Dungeon Hunter 5 Updates To Version 37 And Brings In Holiday Cheer To The Game

Dungeon Hunter 5 is a mobile and Steam game that plays very much like the Diablo series. And as of December 11, 2019, they’ve updated the game to Version 37. Dungeon Hunter 5 Updates To Version 37 And Brings In Holiday Cheer To The Game.
Players of Dungeon Hunter 5 take control of a bounty hunter who’s guild was betrayed and their Guild Master killed in the opening prologue. Taking on the role of Guild Master themselves, players control their character through 160 levels.
In addition to these 160 levels, there are several difficulty levels, so levels can be played multiple times at increasing difficulties for better rewards. Players can also rush previously completed levels if they did not use a health potion or die during the level. And running previous levels is important because the only way to get upgrades is to complete old levels multiple times.
Players can also modify existing gear by fusing other gear into it. So if a player has a flame sword they really like and want to make it stronger, they can take lower-level weapons and use them to upgrade their favored sword until it hits its max level. And once the weapon is at its max level, they can evolve the weapon ito its next form, so long as it has one.
This upgrade and evolve system also works for armors and trinkets too, making getting stronger a matter of finding the right gear and evolving it when necessary.
The game also has a shop where players can purchase chests that randomly drop weapons and armor based on the theme for that chest, allowing them to get higher level weapons and armor than they would normally get through missions. Most of these crates are “for real money”, but a good assortment only requires diamonds, a currency the players can get for free, to open.
And it is with this in mind that the updates with version 37 come into play. Version 37 raises the number of levels that can be run through to 160 levels, granting more single-player content for players to run through. There are also new achievements for players to complete, new weapons and armor to acquire coming from new item crates, and a number of bugs that, while not listed in the patch notes, have been fixed. They’ve also added new champion level minions into the player strongholds, which can be raided for experience and in-game currency.
However, it is the events that the dev team focused on in the patch notes. When booting up the game, there is a “Holiday” icon to click on, and from there, players can run through a dungeon to gather ornaments to be exchanged for crafting materials to be used to craft new trinkets to buff the power of the character.
Dungeon Hunter 5 is ready for the Holidays, and they’re prepared to give their players unique events for the season. Fans of the game won’t want to miss out on this event.

Horizon Zero Dawn Has Been Rumored To Be Coming To PC Surprisingly Soon, Likely False

There’s a new leak coming from a Russian games journalist, and it has everyone rather excited.  Unfortunately, it seems likely false, and it’s likely wise to nip this in the bud prior to a bunch of gamers lighting proverbial fires across social media.
Russian journalist Anton Logvinov has stated that Horizon Zero Dawn will be coming to PC in February 2020. Many sites on the internet are currently stating this as being a factual leak, crafting narratives to support their hopes through some gymnastics that even has Svetlana Khorkina licking her chops.
The mere mention of this coming to PC has many excited as the open-world game had an interesting vision for the future of humanity and wildlife.  Recreating the experience for PC would really stretch the capabilities of computers (and modding) as the game has a hefty number of idyllic scenery that stretches as far as the eye can see. 'Horizon Zero Dawn' Has Been Rumored To Be Coming To PC Surprisingly Soon, Likely False.
Beyond the raw power that computers bring to the fight, it’s simply far easier to aim with a keyboard and mouse than it is with a controller.  When most PC users see professional teams aiming a weapon with a controller, it simply defies reasoning that is readily available.  Personally, I’ve launched arrows in Horizon Zero Dawn well beyond what I was attempting to aim at, and it happened enough that the game ended up simply shelved for good.
So pardon everybody’s excitement that the game may be coming to PC.  That all being said, these rumors are likely false.  With Sony’s historical control over their first-party games, along with a complete lack of evidence, I’d keep the bow in the closet until we see something with more merit than a YouTube video.
If it’s real, he gets tons of clout for his next video.  If not, he’ll still gain a bit of popularity; at least among those that speak Russian.
Yet Horizon Zero Dawn is a first-party title for Sony, and they haven’t exactly set a precedent in allowing their titles that were supposed to encourage gamers to purchase the PlayStation 4 migrate wantonly to other platforms, even one as replete as PC.  Granted, we have seen games that are a wee bit long in the tooth coming to PC recently, and this may be a direct response to that.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to Steam and captivating the audience yet again may merit a direct counter from Sony, and pushing their first-party games would be a brilliant counter.  Although Sony’s recent victories found through their console line doesn’t seem to have them jumping at any chance to compete with Microsoft.
Secondly, all we have to go on is a Russian YouTuber.  There are simply zero merits to this rumor as of yet, and YouTubers are notorious for crafting wild rumors in a desperate bid to attract more viewers on the ever-crowded platform.  It’s far more likely that they’re discussing the next Horizon Zero Dawn coming to the next generation of PlayStation, and our journalist friend got all of his wires crossed in the most popular way possible.
Everyone take a deep breath.  It’s OK.

Jay-Z restores albums to Spotify to celebrate his 50th birthday

Jay-Z is celebrating his 50th birthday by putting his full discography back on Spotify. Jay-Z Puts His Music On Spotify For His 50th Birthday.
The rapper, producer and record executive, who owns the rival streaming service Tidal, previously removed the majority of his studio albums, with just Reasonable Doubt, In My Lifetime, Vol 1 and Vol 2... Hard Knock Life left. Fans could also stream Collision Course, Hov’s 2004 album with Linkin Park.
However, to mark his 50th birthday, Jay-Z has now restored albums such as Watch the Throne, The Black Album and American Gangster to Spotify.
It is currently unclear as to whether he intends on keeping his music on the streaming service, or if it will be removed again at a later date.
Posting on Twitter, Spotify wrote: “Happy birthday, Hov. Welcome back to Spotify.”
It recently emerged that Stormzy turned down an offer to work with Jay-Z because he didn’t think the pair had a song that would fit as a collaboration.
The grime star was working with Ed Sheeran and Hov for “Take Me Back to London”, which was included on Sheeran’s No 6 Collaborations Project
Jay-Z reportedly wanted to feature on the track, but Stormzy felt that given the fellow rapper is American, it wouldn’t sound right.
“I was like, ‘I love this song but you being on [it] changes everything,” he said. “’ Take Me Back to London’ with me and Ed is one thing, but now that Jay-Z is on it... This is Jay-Z and Stormzy, what he means to culture, what I mean to culture... I didn’t think it was the [right] song.”
